1. Types of cricket played in India

There are two main types of cricket played in India. That is 1] Gali Cricket and 2] Academic cricket.
A] Gali cricket:-
This is most commonly played type. In this type, they player play cricket in the local level where no technique is used.
The organization/people arrange a small tournament where this Gali cricketers played and do not have any future opportunities.
B] Academic cricket:-
This is a professional type of cricket played in India. In this type the player/athletes is handled by the cricket academy.
This has age requirement of 8 years but the actual age of growing is 14-16.

2. Join a cricket academy

Joining the cricket academy is very important process in cricket career. Because the house is not made by only bricks and Cement, there should be a structure of the house.
Similarly, in cricket the academy plays role of the Engineer who gives the structure to our cricketing journey. So, it is important to join a cricket academy at the early stage of our cricket journey.
Also be aware that there are many fraud cricket academies who tells you that they will play you in Indian cricket team. But keep in mind that only hard work will work. So do research about that academy you are going to join.

3. Find the Right Coach
